Jerk steak & shrimp over tropical pilaf rice

INGREDIENTS

I cooked my rice in coconut water and added grilled pineapples, a little sazon and some black pepper. I added fresh parsley.

Jerk sauce:

1 yellow onion, chopped

6 stalks green onions, chopped

3/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup white vinegar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, deveined and halved (or scotch bonnet pepper if you can find)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
