Famous Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

1/4 cup white wine

1/4 cup chicken broth

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt and black pepper to taste

Cooked linguine or pasta of your choice

Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until they turn pink. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, add the white wine and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

Stir in the crushed red pepper flakes, chopped fresh parsley, and fresh lemon juice. Cook for another minute.

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the sauce to coat.

Serve the shrimp scampi over cooked linguine or pasta of your choice.
