GARLIC AND BUTTER FLATBREAD

INGREDIENTS:

– 350g of Flour

– 250g of Yogurt

– 1 tsp of Baking Powder

– 1 tsp of Salt

– 1 tsp of Sugar

– 2 cloves of Garlic

– 30g of Butter

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl, creating a well in the middle. Add yogurt, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough and divide it into 8 balls. Let them rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Roll each ball into a thin disk, stacking them with baking paper in between.
  4. Heat a pan over medium/high heat. Cook each flatbread for about a minute on each side.
  5. Generously grease with butter and rub with sliced garlic cloves. You can also sprinkle chopped garlic over the hot flatbreads.

Serving:

Serve and savor immediately, as the Garlic and Butter Flatbreads are at their best when enjoyed fresh out of the pan. These delightful creations have a tendency to become firmer once they cool down.
