Crockpot Angel ChickenĀ 





1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

3 cloves garlic, chopped or left whole

10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup

Ā¾ cup chicken stock

4 ounces cream cheese

Ā¼ cup butter

0.6 ounces Italian dressing mix (I use Good Seasons)

1 pound angel hair pasta


I spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.

I add the chicken breasts and garlic.

In the microwave, I soften the butter and cream cheese, then whisk until smooth.

I whisk in the cream of chicken soup (not diluted), Italian dressing mix, and chicken stock until well mixed.

I pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.

I cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Optionally, 30 minutes before the cooking time is finished, I shred the chicken breasts with two forks and continue to cook in the sauce.

Just before the chicken is done, I cook the angel hair pasta, drain it, and serve the chicken over the pasta.
